Oreo wants to celebrate supportive parents of LGBTQ+ offspring.

Cookie maker Nabisco has teamed with the group PFLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) to give away 10,000 free packs of limited edition cookies, each package with cookies in seven different colored creme fillings.

To get a free pack of cookies, beginning Friday, Oreo wants people to post a picture on Twitter or Instagram about what LGBTQ+ allyship means to you. Also include @OREO and use the #ProudParent and #Giveaway hashtags.

Also as part of its LGBTQ+ History Month’s celebration, Oreo and PFLAG are debuting a new short film, “Proud Parent,” which can be viewed on the PFLAG website. The film tells the story of bringing home a partner to meet a family for the first time and explores the role of acceptance by parents and the community.
